I am so honored to serve as Miss Caldwell County 2025!

About Me: Education, Career Ambitions, and Connection to Caldwell County

In 2021, I graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning a B.S. in Nutritional Science with triple minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Dance. I continued my education at High Point University, graduating summa cum laude in 2024 with an MBA in Healthcare Management. My career goals are to become a Physician Assistant and Medical Missionary, providing essential care to underserved communities worldwide. Currently, I work as a dance teacher in my hometown of Advance, North Carolina. For the talent phase of the competition, I performed a lyrical dance to an cappella rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

My connection to Caldwell County runs deep through my family ties to Dulatown, as my grandmother, Peggy Mallard, was a Dula. Learning about the rich history of Dulatown has been incredibly meaningful, and I am proud to represent Caldwell County as a descendant of such a historic and inspiring community.

Fight with Grace: My Community Service Initiative

My Community Service Initiative, Fight with Grace: Fundraising and Advocating for Childhood Cancer, is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting families impacted by this devastating disease. Childhood cancer affects approximately 47 children each day in the United States—the equivalent of two classrooms full of children. My passion for this cause began at the age of five when I started volunteering and advocating for affected families. Since then, I have raised over $7,000 to support this mission, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to finding a cure for childhood cancer.

As Miss Caldwell County, I am thrilled to launch several initiatives under Fight with Grace. One of these is a hat drive titled ‘Crowning Courage: A Tribute to Peggy Mallard,’ honoring my late grandmother and the joy she found in wearing stylish hats during her battle with cancer. This project continues her legacy of compassion and resilience by providing hats for children undergoing chemotherapy.

Additionally, I will introduce a social media series called ‘Golden Hour: Shining Light on Childhood Cancer,’ where I will share the stories of families affected by childhood cancer across North Carolina. Through this series, I hope to foster greater understanding, empathy, and action to support these courageous children and their families.

Being Miss Caldwell County is an incredible opportunity to serve my community and advocate for causes close to my heart. I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to making a lasting impact!
