Sevyn Harrold

My name is Sevyn EmmaRose Harrold, and I am deeply honored to return to the Miss North Carolina’s Teen stage this June as Miss Morganton’s Teen, proudly representing the Miss Morganton Scholarship Organization.

My journey with the Miss North Carolina organization began in 2015 when I served as a Carolina Princess for Victoria Huggins. Last year, I had the privilege of holding the title of Miss Davidson County’s Teen. While I didn’t place in the Top 10, the experience was incredibly rewarding. I made lifelong friends, cherished unforgettable memories, and earned additional scholarships to further my education.

My Community Service Initiative, Chris Cared: Spreading Kindness One Cup at a Time, holds a very special place in my heart. I created this platform in memory of my uncle, lovingly known as Uncle Brother, who passed away unexpectedly. He had a gift for connecting with others over a cup of coffee, often lending a listening ear to those in need. To honor his legacy, I collect and donate beverages such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice boxes, and water to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s homes, and blessing boxes.

In partnership with a friend in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve also helped provide beverages to homeless college students. To date, I am proud to have collected and distributed over 275,000 beverages. This year, I aim to expand the reach of Chris Cared by collaborating with sister queens and local titleholders to serve even more communities. If there’s a need for these items in your area, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m committed to helping wherever I can.

Beyond my work with Chris Cared, I stay active in my school and community. I am an honor roll student-athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball, while also serving as the president of my sophomore class. I am a proud member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Key Club, and Students for Christ.

In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding in the mountains during the winter and wakeboarding on the lake in the summer.

I am thrilled to return to the state competition this year and look forward to continuing to serve across our great state of North Carolina and beyond. Please join me on this journey by following me on Facebook and Instagram @missmorgantonsteen-nc.
