Michelle brings an impressive legacy of over 33 years of expertise in the pageant industry. Her extensive journey encompasses remarkable achievements as a competitor, esteemed judge, and accomplished director, establishing her as an invaluable asset to our team.

Michelle’s unwavering passion lies in mentoring young women, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and poise to excel not only in the Miss North Carolina state competitions but also in their personal and professional lives. Her dedication to empowerment and her commitment to fostering growth and self-discovery in others have been the foundation of her impactful career. Michelle’s leadership and vision continue to inspire excellence, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she guides.


Corey Moore

Corey brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the world of pageantry. A former pageant competitor, Corey has also held numerous titles and been a state titleholder, giving her invaluable insights into the field. Beyond her personal achievements, Corey has served as a respected judge and coach, sharing her knowledge and passion with countless individuals. 

For several years, Corey led as a state director of a prominent pageant, where she became a role model for young women, a champion for community service, and a powerful advocate for empowering future leaders. Now, she steps into the role of one of the Co-Directors for the Miss Morganton/Caldwell County/Catawba Valley/Carolina Foothills competition.

Michelle Steele

From the very beginning, Michelle has been an integral part of the Miss Morganton Organization, contributing her time, energy, and expertise. As a pageant mom to a former Miss North Carolina Teen competitor, Michelle brings a deep understanding of the pageant world, paired with a unique perspective that greatly enriches our organization. Her experience as a judge in local preliminary competitions for Miss North Carolina and her advocacy for young women on their journey to the state level is a testament to her commitment to supporting and empowering future leaders. 

In addition to her ongoing role as Co-Director, Michelle will also be taking on the exciting responsibility of Carolina Star Coordinator this year. With her background as a dedicated Girl Scout Troop Leader, she is well-prepared to excel in this new role.
