What are the stages of the competition?
Private Interview (30%): Interviews (Teen and Miss) are 10 minutes long. The first 30 seconds is an introduction of your Community Service Initiative (CSI), followed by 9 minutes of questions about you, your CSI, and current events. The last 30 seconds is your opportunity to "wrap up" the interview. This is NOT a gotcha interview, but a time for the judges to get to know you.
Health and Fitness (20%): All delegates are required to wear Rebel Red athletic wear - Top and Bottom of your choice. All local organizations will require Rebel Red Athletic Wear for the Health and Fitness portion of the competition. This Athletic Wear is the SAME attire that you will be able to wear at the state competition. You can order directly from the following site. https://www.rebelathletic.com/mao.html, use the following code when ordering: MAONCGB
On-Stage Conversation (10%): This is a short on-stage question. You will start short introduction of your CSI that you stated in your interview. This will be followed up by a question from a judge that was created directly following your interview pertaining to your CSI.
Talent/Her-Story (20%): There are MANY forms of talent. Dance, Vocal, Instrumental, Magic, Storytelling, Painting, Monologues,...the list goes on. You are UNIQUE!!!!
Evening/Red Carpet (20%): Pick a dress that YOU feel comfortable and beautiful in. You need to wear the dress, the dress should NEVER wear you.
